Did someone say steak?
Apparently, our guaranteed streak free windows have some people watering at the mouth. It’s all because of one letter, a strategically placed ‘R’ that when removed, turns “streak” into “steak.” Now, we are all about steak, we think there are many of you who are. In fact, we are pretty sure that you are thinking about steak right now; a nice, juicy filet mignon perhaps, or a perfectly cooked rib eye.
Here is the deal; when you utilize our Mississauga window cleaning services, you have less time to waste cleaning windows and more time to barbecue the perfect steak. You get to eat steak while enjoying streak free windows.
Anyway, since your mind is sort of stuck on steaks, here are a few compelling reasons to have a barbecue tonight.
Barbecuing isn’t cooking, not really. It’s more of a performance art with carefully chosen costumes. You have your props which include a grill and fire and you have a powerful message to send to your audience which goes something like; look at me while I grill you a meal that you will rank as one of your top five.
It Really is a Healthy Alternative
While we aren’t prepared to say steak is a healthy food, we can say that preparing it on a barbecue grill is a healthier alternative. In fact, anything you toss on the grill turns out better than if you fry it in oil. It turns out a lot tastier as well.
One of the best reasons to barbecue is that it forces you to consume less fat. When you cook foods the regular way in the kitchen on the stove, you often add oil or butter to help with flavor and to keep everything from sticking to the pan. But when you barbecue, you skip out on the oils and butter because, well, quite frankly, there just isn’t any way to oil up a grill.
In addition, the natural fats in your steak or whatever meat you happen to be grilling simply melts off and drips down the grates. When pan-frying that steak, the fat has nowhere to go so the meat reabsorbs them.
When you barbecue, you are outside in some pretty nice weather, listening to some Rush or Triumph and having great conversations with family or friends. When you cook inside, you use a boring stove, boring food, boring conversation and you listen to Nickelback, how dreadfully boring.
When you stop to think about it, the only recipes you use when you grill are just ways to season up the food. For example, the recipe for barbecue ribs looks something like this:
- 5 pounds baby back ribs
- 2 cups of your favorite barbecue sauce
Place ribs on grill and cover with barbecue sauce. When ribs are done, place on a plate and serve.
See? You don’t even need to know how to cook to make that recipe.
The Results are Far More Interesting
Whatever you cook in the Crock Pot is far less interesting than the great foods you toss on the grill. Face it, when you cook indoors, you fall into a rut cooking the same things over and over. And while you might cook some mighty fine foods, people do get tired of eating the same spaghetti recipe over and over. Meatloaf is alright every once in awhile, but every other week, or every other month for that matter is way too often.
Why is that? It’s because meatloaf and spaghetti and most all of the other meals cooked inside are just plain boring. They look boring, they smell boring and quite honestly, after you have had them a few times, they taste boring as well. Nobody ever said grilled burgers or ribs are boring. And in the history of the world, nobody has ever claimed that steak grilled on your barbecue grill is boring.
Even the Leftovers Rock
Whatever you pull from the grill will still taste good after it had been plucked from the refrigerator and reheated in the microwave oven. You can’t even say that about a lot of restaurant food outside pizza, which is good warmed up or cold.
So go ahead, plan a barbecue tonight, we have the windows covered.
